location of coil mounting bracket?

I'm installing a TPI setup that is replacing my TBI system. I have that angled bracket that mounts the coil and that vacum solinoid but can't seem to find out where it mounts to. Any help would be great thanks.

Should attach right nect to the distributor on the passenger side of the intake (last one or two intake bolts). I just took a TPI off an 87, pretty sure that is the location. I have an integral coil on my 85.

thats what I thought but it doesn't allow the bolts to screw all the way down. should I use spacers or are there supose to be studs for those last 2 holes?

if I remember right it was just two regular intake bolts. you don't have an aftermarket base do you? on the edelbrock & accel bases I've installed I had to grind out a notch on the coil bracked to clear the intake port.

It's a TPIS big mouth. I can't believe they wouldn't tell you that in the instructions.
