13's?????

I just recently bought a 1990 GTA WS6 (350). I had some money left over and am buying a few things for it. I was wondering if anybody knew if these mods could possibly put me in the 13' in the 1/4. im new to this TPI stuff. Hooker Cat back, subframe connecters, underdrive pullys, strut tower brace, airfoil, 52mm throttle body, 160 theremostat, b@m shift kit, and soon 3.73 gears and SLP cold air.

a few words of advice before you throw money away:
dont buy a larger tb,, the stock one is good enough to feed like 400hp. get the airfoil.
get a 170* or 180* stat and a fan switch so your fans come on earlier to cool off the car.
B&M shift kits are no good, if you want a shift kit get a transgo,, or even better (and cheaper)just get a vette servo and .500 boost valve for firmer shifts.
the hell with slp, make your own cold air induction kit and save 150$. look at the tech articles for some ideas. get a k&n filter too
PS welcome aboard and you have no chance in hell of hitting 13s

What's wrong with B&M shift kits? i have the stage 2 kit in for over 60K miles with no problems...and no way in hell for 13's??

These are my mods:SLP catback flowtech headers the shift kit mentioned above air foil gutted MAF stage 2 fastchip homemade ram air panhard rod and koni adjustables all around and SSM SFC's

Car was ran on drag radials ran a 13.89@99 his mods aren't too far from mine plus he's speed density which is good for a few more horses...my valves covers have never been lifted...not bad for just a few bolt ons...

the only way to tell for sure is to go to the track,, i guess i might of been venting from my miserable runs,
but im still saying you wont hit 13s.
just go to the tranny board and ask around about B&M kits, if you dont believe me

how can u say he won't hit 13's? there were 2 examples posted...not a lot of mods...and boom 13's. It depends A LOT on the driver...u can have really fast car but if the driver can't drive it well..then its not going anywhere..

Also have u had experience with B&M shiftkits or are u just listening to what other people say? You are right though...the Transgo is a better product

3.73's are too much gear for a stock TPI. I'd stay with either 3.23's or 3.42 if I were you.
I don't belive in the airfoil either nor do I about underdrive pulleys. but that's my 2 cents....

I did that run in February with the air temp around 45* and no humidity. I ported the plenum, relocated the air temp sensor and with the temp around 80 and a lot of humidity and have run 13.89 as my best.

I think I am around 600' above sea level.

The 3.23 seem to work out really good for my car.
