It depends..what gear ratio, what transmission, what intake and how will the car be used?
Theres a ton of cams out there that can be suited to your drivetrain..the ZZ4 cam is pretty good to start with...which direction ya wanna go?

I'd like to run a low 12 sec. w/ 3.73 in the rear. I plan on putting a Lingenfelter super ram sys. on it w/ a 58mm TB and 24# inj. I have the T-5 trans. I run an 8.7 sec
in the 1/8 now. With the fuel inj. from my stock 305 eng.

I ran your combo thru engine analyzer, and with just a cam swap on the stock tpi, there was a 20 hp increase with the ZZ-409, LPE 74219, LT4 hot cam, SLP 224-230, and a 30 hp increase with the CC306 and CC-XE 236-242 giving less vacuum also.

With the superram and 58 mm TB, 50 hp was picked up alone.

313 hp @ 4500 with stock tpi
332 hp @ 5000 with LPE 74219 cam only
405 hp @ 5500 with LPE 74219 and superram and 58mm
417 hp @ 6000 with superram, 58 mm tb, and cc306 cam

Driveability will be better with the smaller duration cams, but the bigger cams make more power with more airflow and are peakier.

You decide.

I don't believe there is any such thing as a ZZ4 cam. The ZZ4 crate motor comes with whats called the ZZ3 cam. The upgrade is the LT4 Hot Cam and 1.6rr.

The ZZ4 cam and the ZZ3 cam are the same thing. Its the same cam with two different names depending on which engine its in.

If you want low 12's go with the HOT cam and 1.6 rockers, I have seen this setup and I will be swapping soon

My friend has a 1974 Corvette:
ZZ4 w/ LT4 Hotcam, 1.6 Roller Rockers, 4 Speed (M21), 3.55 rear

He originally had the ZZ4 and then he got the cam and rockers for christmas and installed it recently. What a difference!!! 50 Horses easily with the swap... the car pulls much harder now and is easily pushing 400hp.
