Engine: aint got no engine right now

Transmission: need one of those

87 Heads on a 92

I was wondering if I could use a set of heads from an 87 IROC 350 on my 92Z 350? I am asking because a friend of mine has a set that he is not using and they have the springs that I need for the cam I am buying as well as some minor machine work.

I think they are the same head, check the casting numbers, if they match, your good to go. 10159552 is for the part number 87 thru 91 for sure.

91 casting #-14101083 or 14096217, thats the best info I could get.
