1LE with Air, & auto, I would be skeptical. Look at the bild sheet to be sure.
The car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If you like it, buy it. Sounds like is has been beat on a little, so a complete overhaul might be in order.
ACTUALLy, if it has TPI, which it should, get it, the worst that will happen is you will make about $700 on the parts, the SD intake with wires & computer in good condition on e-bay will bring $500
my $.025

No its not a 1LE. In 1990 only 34 were built with a 305. 28 were built with a 350. The 1LE did not come with A/C. Another easy way to tell is that the 1LE didn't have fog lamps. On the bright side, for $300 it doesn't matter. If you like it, get it. If its knocking just get a new engine.
LeftTurn1LE,
I just bought a '90 1LE. It has some decals in the spots where the Z28 badges would normally be that say just CROYCO. Any idea what CROYCO is or means? The previous owner had no idea, just that they were on the car when he bought it. Thanks.

Gary,
There is a Croyco Motorsports in Sturgeon Bay, WI. I would contact them to see if they raced your car. A bonafide race history will definitely boost the value of your car.
