ok, i bought this airfoil off a guy on the board and i have the foil, a screw, and a little metal peice with a hole for the screw to go in. what do i do with the metal peice? do i stick it in the TB, the screw the foil in? i tried this but the airfoil sticks out alittle more then it looks like it should. thanks

I bought a TPIS airfoil off of a guy and had problems intalling it.(i swapped from 305 TBI to 355 TPI but i cant install an airfoil ) No matter what i did the hole in the arfoil wouldnt line up with hole in the littl metal peice. not even close. I ended up getting mad and getting some good 2 part epoxy and just epoxying it in. It has been in there tight for a few months now and will probably be there for a long time. IM sure if i wanted to get it out i could just pry it out with a screw driver.
Good luck, i hope you dont have to glue yours in

I belieave you remove the plate that says Tuned Port injection. Stick the airfoil in and put the little metal wedge in the top under the plate. I think think the scre goes through the whole in the airfoil and threads into the little metal wedge which you slip in behind it under the TPI plate. Hope this helped

As posted by EDGE that sounds about right . If you run into the same problem as the other guy who had to expoxy his in.I to couldn't get my screw to line up.So a took a drill and elongated my hole bit till it would go.Just in case you can't get ahold get ahold of any expoxy
