as&m are good for tourqe but f you ever get serious about upper rpm power the slp's will be easier to siamese and will result in shortenng the individual runner length creating a more usable power band

I think TPIS runners are actually the same.

I had great Results with Upper plenum porting to match 58mm TB and SLP intake runner on a stock base. Flowing to an SLP CAM on a 355 with a 2000rpm stall converter. Made a nice power band up to 4800RPM and a nice flat torque curve. Just like SLP claims, not a huge improvement in horse power, but really helps to flatten out the torque curve and move it up a few RPM.

Past Thirdgen:
86 Trans Am w/ built 355TPI with SLP goodies and too much other stuff to List. One sweet *** car, wish I would have had a good enough Job to pay insurance on three cars so I could keep it, but for a 89 Turbo Trans Am w/ Low miles, I think I made the right choice!

I think the AS&M runners are WAY over priced, same with the TPIS ones. I plan on getting the SLP siamesed ones, but I have a high RPM engine.

The shorter the runner is the higher RPMS you will make power in,both Torque and Horse power. That is what the SLPs are all about, flattening out the Torque curve and allowing you to pull to the limits of the base, about 4800-5000 rpms in my opinion.

SLP runners,a ported plenum, and an AFPR(50PSI from stock 48)really opened up my GTA's highway performance, and pulled stronger on the top end, with only a negligible loss in off idle throttle response. The engineers really did their homework, and for only $199 they can't be beat.

I actually think AS&M's site is easy to navigate...

All your L98 stuff...
