The part number for the delete pulley is 10055890. I got it for $35 from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com. Some other places sell it for like $50+

I yanked out my AC trying to clean up my engine then I realized it doesn't take up all that much space. The smog crap takes up the most.

Not having AC kicks *** but sucks on those HOT *** days. But if you weigh the good vs. bad I would do it again!

I have always wondered why people hack the A/C off thier cars. Anyone care to comment why this is such a "performance" mod? Would it not be smarter to just take off the belt if you are worried about engine drag? This way you would not kill the value of your car.

ES87iroc it really isnt a "performance" mod. I am sure that you will probablly free up a little horsepower but nothing so huge that you will notice. I personally dont think that you will be lowering the value of the car beceause I will never sell my car. If you do it right you can always put it back in so you are back to where you started.
