Quick question about Schrader valve on other vehicles...
So tonight, I'm finish the install of my NOS kit on my 305 TPI. Last night (when I hooked up the fuel solenoid) I used the supplied -4AN line on the Schrader valve. I have a fuel pressure gauge so I bought a -4AN adaptor with a 1/8npt side port (for the sender)... while driving the car I noticed a gas smell, so I pop the hood and sure enough, fuel is squirting from the 1/8npt. So I tighten it...as hard as I can. (I figured when I get home, I'll use more sealant). By then it barely trickled. So today I couldn't get it to stop trickling, so I just said f* it. I'll take the adaptor off and buy a better adaptor from Earl's (the one I got was from JEGS). So I try to take the sender off, so I can take the adaptor of the Schrader valve on the fuel rail...I try with the wrench hard...very hard to take it off and then something breaks. The whole sender with the adaptor are now off and then I realize what happened. I broke the Schrader valve. The bottom half is still stuck in the fuel rail...I was like wtf! ...so I head over to Lowe's to find a extractor tool/drill bit. I successfully find a drill bit looking thing and it comes out with out a problem. My problem is that I have a broken Schrader valve on my daily driver. I just need to know what other GM vehicles have the same size Schrader valves. I plan on going to the junkyard tomorrow and hopefully finding one... there are no TunePorts in the junkyards around here (they usually get removed before they hit the yard). Do v6 multiports have it? or what other 80's 90's GM vehicles have it? Thanks for any help...

Are the threadings still in tact? If so you can go to a auto store and get something to fit. I did that to get my fuel pressure gauge to work right.

well, there is maybe a thread on an half on the solid piece. The rest of it has the rest of the threads. I tried checking all the local autoparts stores, but they don't have it. The threads are more like an -AN fitting as opposed to NPT (wider threads)...

I did find the correct AC Delco piece at TPIParts.net (ful-108). If tomorrow's venture is fruitless, I'll go ahead an order it...I'd rather not pay $34+ship though...

Re: Quick question about Schrader valve on other vehicles...
just an update (for you Search users), I went to the junkyard this morning and literally the very first car I came to in the GM section (I think it was a 94 lumina) had one. Exact one. But just to be safe, I also got one from a v6 thirdgen. So it seems that most GM vehicles do indeed have same size Schrader valve...

Shrader valve is the same as used for R134, less than a buck at auto parts stores.

I'll have to look into that then. Would be nice to have a brand new one...

Re: Quick question about Schrader valve on other vehicles...
Not to bring this back from the dead but the R134 valve does work, I picked up two valves and the tool in a package from autozone for 4 bucks. The caps from the package didn't fit, so I still don't have a cap but if anyone else is missing stuff its better than paying 30 bucks for people selling them on ebay.
