I bought the ntk o2 sensor so as not to buy the wrong sensor. it was way expensive though

Who did you buy the sensor from?

Rock Auto has them on closeout for $21.79. Even their regular inventory is priced at $36.79.

You can build the conversion harness for real cheap with packard weather proof connectors from mouser.com

Just a heads up for anyone interested: Rockauto has the NTK O2 Sensor (Part # 21002) for $13.57 (not including shipping). Pretty much cannot beat that price!
