Re: LB9 & L98 difference??
Hey jeepboy180, the difference is really not the "block" size - the difference
is in the cylinder bore diameter of the block. If I'm not mistaken, the LB9 cylinder bore diameter is 3.723 inches making this a 305ci mill. The L98 has a cylinder bore diameter of 4.00 inches making this a 350ci mill. Hope this helps you out.

Re: LB9 & L98 difference??
alright, thank you. I was just wondering if their was a difference in anything else? Such as the heads, Ecm, etc. Because I'd like to go from TBI to TPI. I was just wondering how far the range of availability on the parts went.

The heads have smaller chambers and valves also.
Most everything else is the same.

Re: LB9 & L98 difference??
The TPI intake itself is identical. The block has different pistons and rods, and cylinder heads.

The ECM is the same unit, but the actual .bin (tune) is different.
