I've been looking for one for some time, does this car exist? I've seen some rs with TBI but I want a TPI 305 with a stick. Does anyone have this combination?

Welcome aboard!

Check the FAQ section at the front of the site. I belive there is a section listing commonly available combinations. I seem to recall that a 305TPI/5/T-Top was available, but I'm not certain.

There is a lot of good information in the FAQ and Tech Article sections, so don't overlook those for answers.

that WAS my car. swapped the 305 for a 350 though.... the 305 needed to be rebuilt, and i figured, "why pay 1500 for a rebuild, when i can buy a crashed car with a 350 tpi?

sure, i didnt know haw many miles where on the car, but hey, it works, right?!

Good deal they are out there. There must not be many out there though because their hard to find. Guess I'll keep looking.

I Have one, it looks almost like the one in my picture in my sig. I am thinking of either selling it as-is or fixing it up and charging more.

I don't think the 3.73's are factory stock. When I bought the car, they were already in.

I have a 305 TPI 5 Speed TTOPS 88 Iroc Z and its JET BLACK........ hard to beat that... almost mint to only 89K on the OD paid $4500 for it took awhile to find her my friends call her the "black bandit"

 

i also have one had a hell of a time finding one just give it time i waited 3 years for one

 

buy a 350 car and do what i did it's a p.i.t.a. swap but worth it and as long as you don't dump the clutch at 5000 in 1st gear or power shift it the t-5 will hold up with a good clutch
