Need GM # for TPI Distributor Cover Screws
Hey Guys,
Just noticed that my wonderful
mechanic lost the screws that hold on the TPI cover over the distributor.
Anyone know the thread pattern or even better the part # for these?
Thanks!

I believe the aluminum cover takes different screw than the plastic cover. The head of the plastic screw is to wide for the aluminum cover. However double check that because it has been awhile since I have been down that road.

Look at the link:

This guy states that the screw part # originally noted above by w/t1500 is for the aluminum cover.
If they are differrent maybe somebody is off here????

The link confirms what I remember. The plastic screws are to wide to use on the aluminum.

My EPC says 14083852 for the plastic extension (I looked up a 91 pontiac w/ an L98) and 14082425 for the metal version as looked up under a 91 'vette.
Both list @ 4.25 through GM.

So w/t1500 need to be whipped with a wet noodle!
Part number for plastic cover is actually 14083852.

Think I will get the metal cover and new screws.

no prob, glad i could help someone (finally). TPIParts is a great company, and I have bought A LOT of stuff from them. Even if it is something they dont have listed on the site, call them up cuz they might just have it.
