ZZ4 and Stock TPI

Ok, my L98 is dead. Time for a new motor.
I have the 350 all ready to go in, but before it goes in, i'm thinking of going with a ZZ4 cam, with the L98 heads. Has anyone ever run a ZZ4 setup with the stock TPI? How did it work?

I have that exact setup with some porting and it works excellent, very fast and for some reason mine has a great top end as well as low

I haven;t brought it to the track but i want to know what most ets and mph are, also what tranny is backing your zz4 i have the wc t-5 and it is holding up well thus far I drive hard sometimes but not all the time

I got the WC T-5 as well. It needed a rebuild before I put in the motor. It still does. I manage to get down the strip @103mph in 13.700 sec. The 1/8 in 8.7sec. Thats on 255 street tires.

Mods and times in signature....
This was on a completely stock tuned port setup, and my 2.77 rear end...

Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
ZZ4 cam, mild ported L98 heads, ported stock TPI intake, 52mm TB, and SLP 1 5/8" headers, my engine made 280 HP and 380 TQ at the rear wheels, and ran a best of 13.24 @ 107.18 MPH.
