FP problems

K, well i hooked up a Pressure tester to my schrader valve and when the pump primes i get 25 PSI. I know this aint right but i just had the pump replaced, it also whines really really bad. Just replaced the filter so should i take a look @ the lines and see if they are restricted anywhere?. Also after the pump was replaced my fuel gauge shoots up past Full. Now you guys are gonna flame me but i got the work done at Pep Boys (not by choice). Its past warranty now, do you think i should go back and raise some hell or just go and do the work myself and just say frig it?

If it's out of warranty, save your time and frustration.

It's been but a guage that goes full is either a shorted or open wire...either way, most likely was done when they installed the pump..not sure of you can see it with the tank in though.

A whining pump isn't good, most whine some, but not obnoxiously. Does the pressure go up with the engine running?
