dunno, but i have had the same problems. half of my set doesn't like to go/stay on and the other half won't come of. I used silicone grease and one still refused to come off. grabbed it by the boot and no luck until the wire finally came of with the terminal still on the plug. i had to take the plug out and use pliers to get it off. these were new wires too, guess that was $$$ down the drain...
i have the custom fit 8.8 accels and have had no probs with them, and also they have a lifetime warranty, so i would go back to where u got them from, or get a hold of mr.gasket comp.

I had a set of 300+ wires that did this exact same thing.I would be driving around and my car would start to miss so i would pull over and have to put plug wires back on.On my Accels i would try to squeeze the plug end terminal together to tighten it on the plug with a pair of pliers, works for a day or two at most.Got fed up after a few times of this and bought MSD 8.5 wires, much better product and now i have a complete MSD ignition, and they never fall off!

I have the Accel 8.8s too, I don't have that problem, but mine leake voltage and ark. I have checked all the connections and ignition components- it is the wires.
Needless to say that is the last set of Accel wires I will buy. They did this since brand new, even my old-*** WalMart wires were better.
I too am looking at Taylor. I like those really thick 10mm or something ones with 3 layers of silicone and a fiberglass braid.
That oughta keep the voltage in pretty good.

I got the costume fit ones and they don’t fit my car very good but they kinda work but 2 are already melted i should have got boot shields for they should not melt. When the boot melts it turns in to a play doh like material you can pinch some off and smash it back on, i have not really been completely satisfied with them though, They have a lifetime warrantee? Probably will not take them now that they are melted, and also the bending boots on some of them they don’t bend too good they bend a little but not much and they break inside when you bend them like try to bend them a little and i did not even try to bend them that much. I don’t know i could have spent my money on something better i give them a 2 out of 5 stars
maybe i just got a sorry pair no wait i have 2 pair one on my ta and one on my firebird :P

Cranes were good.
I've had no luck with Acceles or MSDs
Easy fix to keep you plug wires on. Throw those crappy accels on the trash and buy some good wires, like crane, or taylor. I have the taylors with the braided line sheild on them they look bad @$$.
