it should run the same the main reason why you should do this is to clean up the engine compartment over any thing else, you will not get much of a power gain, but it does look much better when you do

I've got a 90RS. I recently swapped 305 out for 350. The air pump is making an awful noise (the bearings I assume). I replaced stock exhaust with non-emmision headers and got rid of cat and all the emmisions crap. So the pump isn't hooked up to anything anymore. I've got one serpentine belt runing everything now. What do I do to get rid of pump and retain serpentine belt and pulleys.
I know I could replace all the pulleys and run v-style belts but I didn't really want to do that if I didn't have to. Is there a conversion or something?
