replacement fuel injectors

what are some good replacement injectors for a L98 with freemods and edelbrock headers and Mac Catback? I think they need to be replaced cause my car wont start sometimes unless i hit the gas and i stalls out if im at a light, though this goes away after the car is driven like 5-10 minutes.

Re: replacement fuel injectors

What you can do is OHM out all 8 of your injectors. If it's below 14's, bad injectors. When my injectors went bad my car did the complete opposite. Run fine cold and run erratic hot. try check your IAC valve or maybe your MAF? air filters? fuel filter? vacuum leaks? fuel pump needs to warm up? lotsa stuff. I would consider all of these.

M9593-a302

cold bad-hot good

Cold running issues (open loop) are not likely to be injector caused.
It is more likely the tune (open loop) not matching the car.

The farther a car is changed from stock the less suitable the stock chip will be.

Multimeters are great to have and can be purchased at any electronics/hardware store for like 10$. If you're going to replace your injectors anyway, do it. I read alot about guys using FORD injectors but Im not sure which ones (Do a search you will find it) , I also remember reading about modifying the fuel rails to do so ( I could be wrong). Obviously SOMETHING isn't working properly when cold. Time for a tuneup?

You shouldn't have to splice anything. Many injectors have the same electrical connection. Get a multimeter. If you are willing to spend a few hundred on injectors, you should at least spend $10-$20 for a tool that will be used a TON to test electrical until you track down the true problem.
