Holley AFPR opinions...
Thinking of getting a Holley AFPR, my TPIS one's a POS as the vac line broke off today when installing my intake on my new motor.

Read lots of good comments about the Holley unit, but did notice that someone had a problem with the adj wheel hitting on some part of the plenum or runners?

I had two of them, both of which leaked. Very nice pieces, except their packaging and cleanup sucks. The sensitive diaphragm and all the metal components are thrown together in a bag and Holley for some reason didn't find it important to clean the threads on either housing or wash all the aluminum chips off the parts and diaphragm. The first one leaked back through the vacuum fitting and back to the tank (pinhole leak in the diaphragm) I even cleaned the second one thoroughly, made sure I installed it correctly again, and the damn thing still would not hold fuel pressure. They look good, and others have had good results with them, but IMHO, poor cleanup, poor packaging, and a piece of ****ing **** for $90. Save your money (you can tell I'm upset by having to pull one and send it back TWICE).

Airfoil, Dynomax cat-back, MSD coil, 180 t-stat, Bald Eagle tires,
Hypertech fan switch, Accel 23# injectors, Holley module, ported plenum,
Ported Daytona Yellow stock base, Moroso valve covers, other stuff,
Streetdampr, Ruger P95DC, hot wife, new oil filter, !cats, !TBC, !AIR.
18.0 @ 85MPH since I'm one big-a$$ MF

And please, don't anyone tell me I installed it incorrectly. Also, the valve disc is a different size than the one on my GM diaphragm, which may explain the failure of the regulator to hold pressure adequately.
I bought a holly and a tpis and I bought the holly after I found out the tpis one had a problem with the vac port breaking off. I called tpis and they said they would happily take back any of the afprs that broke. just a thought send the tpis back, buy another brand and sell the tpis one. You have to buy a new one and pay for it anyways.
I got a Holley AFPR about two months ago. Its a very nice piece compared to some of the other AFPR's out there but I do agree that Holley could have done a better job of packaging and cleaning out the threads. Would highly recommend this piece over any other. Its a bit more expensive but its worth it for a billet aluminum piece.
