after ported plenum, now I get a dead spot

after I ported my plenum the car runs great except when I accelerate out of corners. Being that I autocross, this is BAD. Everytime I nail the gas, I get a dead spot for just a moment. I have read about this before but forgot the fix.

The baffles in the gas tank are broken. Time to get a new tank... or you can always go around the track with a full tank of gas.

You mean dead spots like the car slows down like it's out of gas? My car only does that when it's real low on gas. But only when I turn real hard. It does sound like the baffels are broke though. Tough luck man, good luck.

Sounds like you need to increase your pump shot. See the PROM tuning board.

Go with a fuel cell if you Xcross, unless it is also daily driven ..... are theer laws against fuel cells ... aren't they safer anyways???

I really don't think it is the baffles. This is also a daily, and the problem really only occurs when I drive it hard. I always race with a full tank to help set the rear. it is just a kind of delay, like when you nail a 4 barrel carb.

Drive it with a Fuel pressure gauge on it and see what it does
