HotRod TV changed the stock throttle body out on a 4th gen, as well as reconfigure the computer programming. They said that the dyno results after the swap resulted in 25hp, or something of that magnitude. However, that is on a 4th gen.

It should make a nice difference, but then again, any bigger than stock is getting close to overkill on a stock motor. Time to weigh the options... maybe other people have real life testimony that you can read up on.

I don't think it'll be a waist if you have a lot of torque. I you might want to try a 52mm so you don't lose low end. Unless you plan on going w/ higher gears later.

I dyno'ed w/ 356ft lbs @ the wheels. I want to loose some low end so I'm going w/ the 58mm.

PS- the lift on the ZZ4 cam is the same as the ZZ3 - .474 / .510

Mods: ZZ4 engine w/stock TPI, adj, fuel pres. reg., MSD 8.5, HI6S ign. w/ PS-91 coil, K&N filter, TPI air foil, Hooker comp. shorties, American Thunder flows. 160* stat., TB bypass, 3"cowl, bat. relocate, AC delete, smog delet, cats gutted, stock T-5 w/ 3.42 rear, ported plenum, 24# inj., dual friction centerforce.
