Throttle Body problems..

Hi, maybe you all remember my last thread about the injectors and cleaning out the IAC passages... Now I got the injectors and the gaskets at home, started to remove everything, and when I took off the throttlebody one STRONG smell of pure fuel came, I mean alot of fuelsmell, the hole plenum and runners really smelled like fuel. One gasket was soaked in fuel (or liquid that smelled fuel, got an picture how the gasket looked..)
The gasket looked like this, look at the dark one, smells fuel. (right one)

Problem 1 is that when I was about to remove the IAC passages and water channel in the throttlebody 2 bolts went off... So I cant get them out, and all the others looked really rosty and corroded..
Theese 2 bolts is off as you may see :

Tried to seperate the botten end and the TB but I cannot seperate them, Is it toast now ? Do I have to buy an new Throttlebody ? Tried to bend them apart but it didnt go that well. Dont know if I have damaged it or not.....:-(

And this is how the top looked at the TB

Havent changed the injectors yet, just removed everything and got it on the table. Gotta know if I have to buy an new TB tonight or is there any chance of saving this ?!

PLEASE help me out..

Re: Throttle Body problems..

Seems like I may have solved the problem!
The both screws that are broken are on the watersidepassages.
So if I make an Throttlebodybypass then theres no need to worry about the 2 missing screws. I still got 1 in the middle and 4 around the IAC passages, It would not be an vacuum leak there I think, right ?! what do you guys think about that ?!

The red are the ones that not will be used, and the green the ones that I will screw it back with

Re: Throttle Body problems..

if you bypass the coolant i would not worry about it , but use a new gasket .

if the temps get below freezing there the throttle body could freeze up though .

Re: Throttle Body problems..

the heads of the screws came off you're saying? why not just get those out? they make special bits that drill a tiny hole in the broken screw/bolt and the reverse side grabs into the hole you drilled. Just use some pb blaster on it before you try to remove it.
