Previous engine-350, .040 over, vette alum. L98s, stock tpi, stock 305 injectors & chip. TES headers & edelbrock cat back. 3.73 gears, 700r4.
Best with 2.8-17.4@77mph
Best with 305-15.0@93mph
Best with 357-13.7@101mph
on a 2.050 60 ft.
(Damn the 2.8!)
New Setup:
4 bolt 357 (10.2:1), AFR 190s (fully cnc ported), LT4 Hot cam (1.6 RRs), Ported SuperRam (upper&lower), Ed Wright custom chip, 24# Accel injectors, Yank 3200 lock-up TC, 3.27 9 bolt rear, some traction! Hoping to see some 12s.

I "should" be running mid 12's once I get a new tranny (the stock one is hurtin BAD) and everything tuned. I wish I had some times but don't. The Vette guys with similar or identical setups as mine are running low 12's, high 11's if it's a 383. hmm...im looking to get 12's (mid to high) w/ a stock bottom end, afr 190's, some type of free flowing stock type TPI setup (no super ram) and a yet to be named cam...i know it can be done but i just trying to plan it up now

406 bowtie block
10:1 compression
solid roller 242/250 @ 0.050" 0.618/0.600 lift
World Products sportsman II's heavily ported
Miniram
700r4 trans with 3500 stall Vigilante convertor
Strange 12-bolt with 4.11 gears
all the necessary suspension stuff. (1.63 60' time)
SLP 1 3/4" headers (THESE ARE KILLING MY TOP END)
3" random tech cat into a Mufflex 4" cat-back

Hank, looks like we have almost identical setups. What's your best 1/4 time and MPH? I can't really find out what mine will do until I get a new 700R4 and that won't be til spring. I have the Vigilante and drag radials already, but I'm not putting either on until the tranny is here. Based on the Vette guys, I was guessing mid 12's at around 110 MPH, since the IROC's are a bit heavier. That about what you run?
