its silent at start up,after about a minute tick,tick,tick! it gets louder with rpm. i thought it was lalve lash,its not. thought it was a header flange leak,its not. its only coming from the driver side. im getting CRAPPY gas milage and my throttle surges at 2,000rpm and up?

bet you have a noisy injector a bad one can sound like a lifter. to check pull the connector off 1 at a time see if the noise goes away.. it will run on 7 injectors

The injectors on TPI cars always tick, but since you say crappy gas mileage and surges then it definitely sounds like bad injectors.

i pulled one at a time, the niose is still there? i could feel them ticking when i put my fingers on the plugs. all the injectors ohm out good aswell? if it was a exhaust leak on the driver side(where the nois is coming from) would that thorw the o2 sencor off being its on the same side?

Like I said, they always tick. And just because the all ohm out ok, doesn't mean they are. It could still be a leaky injector causing the problems.

have you ran that motor hard past 6000 a lot?

6000 i wish.she wont go past 4500 . its not a wrist pin
