Temp Sensors switched

Are the pigtail connections to the coolant temp sensor and manifold air temp sensor the same?

Are the sensors the same?

What condition/s would it cause if they were switched with eash other?

Still trying to sort out a flooding condition.

Re: Temp Sensors switched

The sensors are not the same. The CTS is waterproof on the business end, the MAT sensor isn't, and I doubt they are calibrated the same. The plugs on them...... yeah, they could be the same plug. They certainly look very very similar where the plugs go on.

Re: Temp Sensors switched

Kragen lists different part numbers for the CTS and inlet air temp sensors. Standard Motor Products list the same part number for both.

Autozone lists the same part number for both.
