I believe they use this kind of clip, which you should be able to get at Autozone:

I'm unsure if you mean the front ground effects or the air damn, which is located beneath the car. The latter is attached with four or five bolts, the ground effects with a weird-looking clip and bolt. Hit the bone yards for what you need--no need to rig anything and you can see how it all goes together.

i'm talking about the air dam and i have already tried that. apparently thats a big problem for a lot of camaro owners. cause absoloutly 100 percent of the camaros i looked at were missing their air dam.

They may have been missing the air damn (it's plastic after all), but I suggest the bolts were still in place.

Re: My last AIR DAM QUESTION

it just bolts to the bottom of the core support . the bolt holes rust out causing the dam to fall off on some cars and others get knocked off from bottoming out .

you can see the holes just by looking at the bottom of the core support , i dont know the exact size of the bolts . if you cannot get any to thread they may be rusted away , gust use a bolt / nut / washer combo that fits in the hole .

thats what my original idea was, but i wanted to get an idea of what kind of supports GM uses cause i know if i just put some bolts in it at the top with nothing as a horizontal it'd probably bust off first time i bottom out. which we all know will happen.

Re: My last AIR DAM QUESTION

Just get some nuts and bolts that hold it on. There is no way of attaching it except for the bolts along the top. I scrape a lot out around where I am and mine is still there. Its probably better that they have some flex in them.
