inj bank 2 fuse keeps poping
So the cars a 91z 305 tpi, i was driving it all day had dinner went out to leave and it wouldnt start, inj bank 2 fuse keeps poping. So i thought it might be a short in the injector. I changed them all out as well as the regulator. Fired up and ran great untill it poped again. Other then the odvious short what else could it be

Re: inj bank 2 fuse keeps poping
I don't think a bad ECM would cause it to blow the fuse (just thinking out loud). The only other thing it could be is a short on the injector wiring. The pink/black wire is hot with key on. The dark green wire should have 12VDC from ECM pin C12 until the engine tries to start. The ECM will groung this wire to complete the circuit at each injector.
Get a multimeter on the pink/black wire on bank #2 wire. This wire has 12VDC all the time once the key is on run. Check for continuity from the C207 connector pins (there should be 2 wires here. One for each bank, but austinthirdgen.org only has C207 schematic for 89 and 92) , Inj #1 and #2 fuses, and this pink/black wire. There should be continuity at all those places. Then check these places for continuity with engine or chassis grounds. I think there is a very slim chance that the ECM wire C12 will pop the fuse. It is not inline with it. If it was shorted to ground you would have injectors open all the time with key on. This will fill your crank case with gas. Might not hurt to check this C12 (dark green) circuit for continuity, and no short to ground.
