CAM a 305TPI???
i have a 1991 formula WS6, 305tpi, T5, and 3.42 gears. its all factory except flowmaster cat back and BBK throttle body. i was wondering if camming it is worth and and do i gotta change anything in the computer ****. also i wanna put headers on it. do i ahve to remove all the egr stuff. and do anything to the computer?

Don't bother with a cam change unless you change the heads too. That will also require modifying the ECM.
Headers will not require modifying the ECM. You can retain all the smog stuff with some brands/types of headers.

yea, heads and cam really have to go together. And if you choose to do that I believe year one has a ton of different chips you could buy to adjust the ecm for the swap. If not I think you have to send out the ecm or prom chip for programming.

Because of all the work you have to do to change the cam, its not worth it on a stock engine. Because while you're in there, you might as well change the intake, and the heads, and the injectors, and the exhaust, etc, etc.
A good set of headers, such as Hooker 2055's or Dyno Don's 1 3/4" will wake up the car and give you more power. But removing the EGR, the catalytic converters, or the AIR tubes is illegal on a street car in all 50 states, even if your area does not do emissions testing.
