the wire that goes from my EGR to a plug near the dizzy, where can i get another? the one i have broke where it screws in and if i go back stock i'll need it...... or will i?

The connector that splices off the back of the harness near the tranny bell housing?
Ive had success going to Chevy parts depts and ordring stuff under Camaro/Fbody.

being your car is a 89 you can look at your car and know what im talking about. look at your EGR valve, there will be a nut that screws into it and then there is this wire with a threaded fitting crimped on that screws into that nut on the EGR . the wire has a plug like an o2 sensor near the dizzy.

Ah yes, it screws into the base of the EGR valve and travels to the
the dizzy area as mentioned correct? I can barely see out there in the
dark.
You could try and see if that is an accessory offered at NAPA or Carquest,
Im trying to track down the actual term for the part right now, Im sure GM
parts, a good local parts store or worse yet a junkyard would have one.

thats it, i just need the wire that screws into the solenoid. otherwise im complete. i find one im putting it in a steel box for protection till im ready to use it. dang thats crazy.

found one, a few actually. i have a friend that has a 3rd and 4th gen salvage 1½ hrs from me so i gave him a ring. Tom over at house of camaro has one also.

Sweet, I might have to pick one up for hordeing purposes! I hope it
