85 Throttle Body on 90 Plenum?

Transmission: TKO600
Axle/Gears: Strange S60 3.73
85 Throttle Body on 90 Plenum?
I have a ported plenum that I wanted to put on my car but it is from a 1990 TPI motor. My car has the earlier plenum style with the triangular IAC hole in the front of the plenum, as to the later style one not having a hole at all. My question is, can I use my old throttle body on the newer style plenum without the IAC hole or will it not work?
