DIFFERENT BELT SETUPS

Ive noticed that there are a ton of cars that are 350s but have the belt seups reversed like the alternator is on the right on one and on the left on another. What is this all about. Does it mean one is realy a 305?

When the F-bodies switched to serpentine, the accessories were moved. Like the AC & Alternator switched sides.

A 305 & a 350 would have the same arrangement of the accessories.
