Fuel pump primes but how do I know for sure it works? Car just cranks, it has spark and the fuel pump sounds good...what else can I do?

Re: 5.7 iroc no start
My best guess without more information is that the ignition module is bad, plus it is the easiest thing to check most auto parts stores can do that.

Hook up a fuel pressure guage to it and make sure you are getting fuel.

Also a tip. If you ohm out one of your injectors and it is reading real low (less than 12), unhook it and then try to start the car. If the injector was indeed your problem the car will now fire right up.

Check fuel pressure. Ohm out your injectors as well. Just this past week 2 of my old injectors ohm'd out at <10 ohms, needless to say the car would only start using starter fluid. Purchased a new set of injectors and problem solved she fires right up.

Re: 5.7 iroc no start
Your car is not producing an injector pulse, check the plugs on the back of the distributor, if they are good and tight then change out the ignition module.
