ok weird -to me thread for knock/fan switch connectors

I thought i knew there was two connectors on the passenger side that looked the same.the two being knock and fan switch Connectors. After having knock issues I decided to make sure the 2 were plugged into the proper places.i found this thread.

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...onnectors.html

After looking under my hood mine appeared to be backwards but I found a 3rd plug that looks just like the knock sensor/fan switch plug.

I had a black plug with a black connector with a white wire plugged into my fan switch in the head and a white plug with a black wire plugged into my knock sensor.I was getting a lot of knock retard. Then I found a black plug with a blue wire just stuck in the harness.Wasnt easy to find .I was reaching and ripping pretty deep. after finding the above thread now im a little confused.Does anyone know for sure the wire color/plug color for the proper connection?BTW THE white wire does have a butt connectorin line that I didnt do.Thanks

The blue wire connector is the knock sensor for speed density cars(the esc is controlled by the dizzy) the white wire connector is the knock sensor for cars that are not speed density(they have a esc module)

as far as the 2 knock sensor connectors. i think gm just mass produced wire harness with both so they didnt have to make 2 different harnesses. i have a 91 and it has both. and the black wire is the fan switch connector.
