305 missing and dies at idle.
Hey guys I finally got my car to start after replacing the whole entire ignition system and adjusting the timing but now that its running it runs like complete crap. It sounds like it is only running off a couple of cylinders. I can start the car by flooring the pedal but once it is running it dies right away unless I warm it up then it will idle at 1k rpm. It is not throwing an engine light or anything so what could it be?

New development.
I tested all the cylinders and the whole passenger side of the engine
is dead... I checked the spark wires and I am getting voltage so it has to
be something with the injectors right? I do find it weird however that one
side of the engine is dead and the other isnt... electrical problem maybe?

There are two fuses for the injectors, one for each bank, check them first!!

I was going to suggest the fuse as well... otherwise if it's operational, then you will have to get your hands on a manual so you can diagnose that side of the harness with a 12 volt meter or a voltmeter to see how much juice is getting through ...

You guys were right... lol.
The car is running on all 8 now but still lacks alot of power and
hesitates when you give it gas. I did however get to take it on its
first cruise and it was great!. Although going up a hill it wont go past 2k rpm
in drive with the peddle to the metal.

Re: 305 missing and dies at idle.
and I dont really know what you mean by prep but I brought the number one piston up and put the rotor in the number one position and went from there.
I used my dads 87 GTA as a base and got it to idle at about the same position.
**EDIT** I also broke this little vaccuum line and I dont know if it has a lot to do with it... The yellow arrow is where it starts and the red arrow is what I broke...
