Camaro air box on a firebird?

Camaro air box on a firebird?
Does the camaro dual filter set up fit under the hood of a firebird formula? The yellow arrow points to the housing which covers the air filters, I was wondering if anyone ever tried putting one on their firebird. TIA

I believe the hood line on a bird is to low and clear the part where your arrow is.

It wont fit.

You should look into the various ideas people have used for a CAI on birds. They're all basically variations of the stock location and box.

Awe, thats too bad. I figured as much, or gm would have used the same intake on the birds as on the camaro's.
