whats the correct valve cover configuration?

I have an '89 Lb9 305 tpi and am just wondering which is valve cover goes on what side and which way

I just need to know if the hole is towards the front or the back on the passenger side valve cover.

I dont remember which way it goes, but I can tell you they will only go on one way. The bolts are not perfectly centered in the valve cover so the bolts will only line up one way.

if your talking about the hole that holds the breather, it's in the back.
