ok i put new injectors in an i think i didnt put the right wires on each injector, question is do they have to be on a specific injector to run right please help me, it seems to run good at like 3500 rpms an up, thanks

 

It doesn't matter. TPI is batch fire. All the injector wires are basically wired up together anyway.

 

the three injectors i took out of a 87 iroc 305 tuneport the ends looked differnet then the ones in my 89 305 tpi iroc, could this be why its not running right'?

 

The 89 uses Multec injectors... 87 used the old Bosch style injectors. Mixing and matching probably isn't the best idea. Multec injectors go bad pretty often too.

 

so will this cause it to run funny with 3 of the 87 style an 5 of the 89 style injectors????

Assuming those Multec injectors are any good (a huge maybe), I still wouldn't recommend using a couple Multecs and a couple Bosch injectors. If anything use the complete set. At the very least you're going to have different spray patterns. Could it cause a problem? Who knows, but it's just not a good idea. Get a matched set of injectors.

 

lose the multecs asap. they will cause you nothing but grief just give it time and you will see. or search the board for other's experiences. i wasted alot of time on money on them myself.

what is your car doing under 3500? over 3500?

 

ok gauges are fixed, now the car wont run worth a **** now after swtching 3 of the bad injectors, keep in mind 5 are multec, an 4 are bosh , how ever u spell it, now car will sit an run with maf unpluged, but runs like crap, anything under 3k an its not running good at all, it smokes alot now , black smoke stinky crap.. The car will not idle down either now its idleing at like 2500 rpms an wont go down, mess with tps,maf an nothing, only thing i can do to get it to run at all is unplug maf but runs like total crap, please give me your input thanks

 

one more thing, when i do plug maf in while its sitting there running it seems to smooth out alot an rev up , but then dies out quick, idk im lost with it
