help with checking vacuum
some help is needed guys
I have a 90 350 tpi and it sounds like a miss at idle.
so I would like to check for vacuum leaks, where is a good place to check from. this motor does have the canister anymore did not come with one.
The only place I can think of is the port on the plenum rear pass side
and what reading would I be looking for.

Re: help with checking vacuum
try spraying some starter fluid/carb cleaner between the lower intake and heads, also between the lower intake and runners and between the runners and pleanum.Between the pleanum and TB.. Look anywhere in the intake that it comes apart. Might also want to check to see if the injector O rings have a vacuum leak. Idle should race up if you spray an area that has a leak. If you have an AF gauge you will go from lean to rich. Make sure you cap off any open unused vacuum lines... Good luck
