New fuel injectors leaking, any ideas?
I just got done putting in a set of Bosch III fuel injectors that I bought from SouthBay. Problem is I cannot get them to seal up good. I have taken them apart and reinstalled them several times but everytime same result leaks all over the manifold. Tried it once with the new o rings on the manifold side of the injector and once with the o rings from the old injectors and same thing. It seems that they are leaking from the manifold side. The O rings that came on the injectors are not rounded on the sides like the factory ones. Wondering if I should get a new set of o rings from the parts store and try that, that is about the only thing I can think of to do. Any ideas would be appreciated!!!!

Fuel is leaking up around the bottom of the injector where it goes into the manifold.

From my own experience with South Bay I would give thim a call. This is what they do. This is their product. They will not be happy until their customer is happy. Otherwise they would not be able to stay in business, give them a call. No, I am not a paid endorser, but, a satisfied customer. Good luck! Randy

My Southbay injectors installed with no problem. Just a note for ya, make sure that when you install the injectors that you lubricate the "O" rings prior to putting them into the fuel rail, as well as the intake manifold. not using lubrication during the install can cause the "O" rings not to seat correctly. Hope this helps.......
