by the end of summer i'd like to get a 350 tpi for my t/a. i am looking at purchasing it from this guy - http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...Q5fAccessories

he says he'll build a motor to any specs desired so i was thinking of a new cam (not too sure what kind cuz im new to all this engine stuff, thus having someone else build a motor lol) and he says he'll put a roller cam instead of the flat tappet cam in and im also looking for other things to have him install to the motor.

it is not a race motor, just want to speed it up a bit on the road and keep everything compatible with the computer. i already have headers for the motor on my 305 and i was thinking of also doing the slp intake runners when i get the motor. what else would be good but not super pricey?

Oh true. I thought it was still working. What's a good cam that wont require tweaking the computer? And I was planning on a dual exhaust with a new motor. Im mainly concerned now about what to order the motor with. Im already changing to a roller cam from flat tappet but wasn't sure what else to order it with

If u wanna keep stock ecm ive seen that most people recommend either a lt1 cam or crane 2032 that way you keep the stock springs and stock ecm tune as well

Ok great, this way I have something to go with as ordering wise. Are there any other modifications that are recommended for a little extra power that I don't need to run premium or change computer stuff around. Id like to surprise people with the speed but I also don't want a drag motor

Here's your link. It just had an extra http:// in it.

87-92 TPI motors 305 and 350 had roller cams from the factory. Since your car has a 305 in it right now and you want to switch to a 350, you should get the computer tuned (different computer chip).

Yeah I knew id have to get a new chip and my dad informed me on the roller cam, this guy builds them with the flat tappet cam so that's why I requested the roller. But iwill give him the info on the new cam and what about roller rockers someone had mentioned once before or somethin?
