Intake Manifold Removal - help

My GM service manual and Hayes manual do not go into as great of detail as I was hoping for. I Have a 1991 305 TPI.

Do you have to remove the injectors and fuel rails to take off the intake? Whether or not the injectors protrude down past the intake to the heads I suppose is the root question.

Re: Intake Manifold Removal - help

They don't have to be removed but removal makes accessing the intake bolts much easier.
