when the key is turn to on after trying to start the car you will hear a clicking sound by the engine and the check engine light blinks when it clicks and the radiator fan turns on and when you turn the key to off it stop all together and its a 91 z28 350

 

Check your coolant switch on the passenger side of the block...

Sounds like dead battery to me.

 

no it cranks the battery worked in my other car the key isnt being turned it is just in the on position and the one radiator fan turns on the other doesnt and the clicking is by the engine block and each click is about 10 seconds apart and then when it clicks the engine light blinks with the click

 

i found out what part was bad car runs but i don't know what the name of the part is it was on the passenger side of the engine block and in a black casing were vacuum hoses were connected to and cant find out what it is so i can replace it

well i was wrong and just sold the car yesterday it was most in likely electrical problem at most
