Hmmm... I did, but I haven't started the new motor yet to see if it works 
I am pretty sure I looked into this. I know the knock sensor and injectors are different, other than that, I think the rest was able to move over.

There are several different egr valves for tuned port motors, some of which are no longer available or have changed part numbers. I just ordered one off RockAuto for my year car and put it on. Passed smog with no problems
