Will you have drag radials that hook or drag DOT slicks or something on the rear to help it launch to its full potential?

Well, in that case dont expect much. If you can somehow walk it out the hole with a 2.0 60 foot, I would think it would have a 8.6-8.7 in it. My 99 TA LS1 car will do 8.5's with a near 2.0 60 foot but it will do 8.2's with a 1.85 60 foot. Its got more hp than your setup likely, but its also preetty heavy.
Bolt on L98 only with 254whp i was able to get 8.2's with a 1.71 60 ft but thats in perfect air conditions. Mostly 8.4's with that setup.
If your in the 275-300whp range, and fairly light weight, on slicks it should go low 8's without a problem. Possibly high 7's. My buddy's 3rd gen with 330whp went 7.7's best but averaged about 7.9's in hot air.
Alot of it depends on traction and air conditions.

good thing it will be nice and cool in october... so i guess mid 8s is in the ballpark for a mild 350 tpi.. my car weighs 3650 with me in it....i guess anything in the high 7 range is really good for a good tpi setup... im more into quarter mile times....

Usually a ball park figure is 1/4 mile time divided by 1.57 = 1/8 mile ET. Generally close enough.

Not likely on street tires. You need to use the converter and get that thing to launch hard! LOTS of ET is made up in the launch.
