Got some money and ive been wanting to buy some parts for my car. My current setup is an air foil, headers, exhaust. Ive been wanting to start on the rear end and change to a 3 series carrier to slap in some 3.42 or spend it on a miniram and see if it passes smog in cali or just go with a big mouth intake base and slp runners or just get some work done on the heads. What you guys think?

thats about 3-4 hundred in parts

paying for the labor/installation of these parts is probably about another 3 or 4 hundred.

which leaves you 3 or 4 hundred left over - 7 or 8 hundred if you're set up to do the labor yourself.

7 or 8 hundred would get you that Lower Intake / TPI Runner combo. on the other hand, it could get you some Aluminum L98, or even Cast Iron Vortec Heads (or have work done on the stock heads.)

 

I had my trans rebuilt about 2 uears ago and i had the that shift kit installed. Where would i find the L98 aluminum heads, or cast iron vortec heads?

 

i think all can be purchased from GM. the Vortecs can be purchased thruough Summit or Jegs. ZZ4 heads are essentially L98 heads. they can also be purchased through eBay - prolly for pretty cheap.
