D/S SLP runner top EGR port open & creating vacuum leak

So I am finishing up my swap and the vehicle is running real rough. Found a huge vacuum leak created by the top of the SLP runner on the D/S the EGR port is open, there seems to be no place on the plenum
for it to connect to.

The SLP runners are the early ones with the 9th injector hole and the plenum I think is a 91-92 SD. Is the difference in the runners more then just the 9th injector which has been plugged off?




What should I do? Has anyone seen this before or know what im talking about?

If I remember correctly its because you put a V belt drive on the front of the motor.

I had to do something like this before. I used a tap and pipe plug(with sealer) inside the top of the runner.
Also make sure the upper gasket is on properly. There is a left and right. 2 of the lowers have a left and right also.

yeah i guess i only need to plug the top, correct?

i was thinking of using some of that jb weld stick
