Fuel Leak Please Help

First off id like to say hello to everyone on the forum my name is Joe and i just bought my IROC last night.

i drove it back about an hour got it to my house and heard liquid hitting concrete looked under the car and saw gas running down the diff like a water fall. I filled up at a gas station prior to starting out on the drive and didnt hear gas hitting the ground or anything so im thinking its not the filler neck or the tank being that i drove an hour on the interstate and didnt run out of gas. Im thinking its like a fuel line or something like that. If anyone has any ideas of what this could be please let me know!!!!

Oh and my gas gauge doesnt work so me watching the gas needle drop as i drove wasnt an option lol.

If you just turn the ignition on, (so the pump primes) does the leak get worse?

i beleive it gets worse thats what makes me think its a line because when i stopped the car and turned it off thats when i heard the fuel hitting the ground. Im wondering if it could be a return line or something.

Re: Fuel Leak Please Help

Don't mess around with leaking gas.

Jack up the car, put on jackstands, and look with a flashlight to see if you can find the leak. You may need to drop the tank, which isn't fun (search the forum).

The line connections from the tank to the car are on the drivers side, toward the top front of the rear wheel well. All the fuel lines run up the driver side.

Good luck! Don't drive with that leak or you could go boom.
