injector install

Hey I was just wondering if anyone has any tricks for installing the injector clips on the TPI fuel rails. They are a serious pain. Thanks for the help.

They come out easy. You just have rotate the clips.

Re: injector install

erik69 is in Rochester too. Take your fuel rail over there and he'll show you how to take them out without bending up the clips.

Re: injector install

Lube the "O" ring a bit with something oily. Push the injector in to compress the "O" ring a bit. You might have to wiggle the injector a bit in order to get the reteining clip to start in the slot properly.
