350 TPI running rough when hot!
Hello, I have recently installed a Tpi intake on my 86 iroc. I have been trying to work all the bugs out over the the last couple of months, but Im getting stuck!
The car starts and drives great when the engine is cold, but when I stop the engine and try restarting it, it runs poorly. It seems to be missing and accelerates poorly.
I have installed new Bosch III injectors, and ohms tested them. 15-17OHMs
Replaced distributor and module, and wires and plugs.
Checked timing. 6*BTDC
Also, recently replaced MAF, ICT sensor, Knock sensor.
I have checked over the vacuum lines and it all looks good.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
THANKS!!

Did you put the correct PROM in? if your car wasnt tpi to start with you'll need a correct tpi PROM for it. Sounds like its running ok in open loop, but poorly in closed?
Whats TPS adjusted at?

Re: 350 TPI running rough when hot!
Thanks for the reply. I was having some voltage problems, I replaced my battery cables and starter, and that really helped. But I believe Im having some closed loop issues. I unplugged my maf sensor tonight, and the car runs awesome. But with it plugged in and the engine hot I cant even drive it. Really frustrating. Not sure with way to look now. I have a little different cam than the stock one, and was told to try a wide bandwidth O2 sensor. Does that sound right?
