Where do these lines go to????

Ok so I just got my 87 Iroc a couple of weeks ago and I've noticed there is a small exhaust leak coming out from the engine area somewhere.... I can't point it out.

So I found out that a vacuum line from the throttle body wast connected to the charcoal canister, I plugged it up and I think it made a difference but not totally sure since I haven't driven around yet.

Well I was still looking at the throttle body opening and found 3 areas that were plugged up, where do these openings go??? Will this help with the small exhaust leak im having?

Well my second problem is that when I start the car from a cold start, it takes about 3-5 seconds to turn on then when it does I have to give it has a little, ten it'll idle where it needs to be and be fine. It always starts, but why can I do to fix it?

When the car has been driving, like when I go to the store and come bak the car will start with no hesitation.

What can fix this?

Anyways, here are pics of those plugge lines and any help will be appreciated.

Oh and it's a 5.7 TPI

The plugged lines are throttle heater bypass. No worries on that. Your exhaust leak is unrelated.

Your long crank might be related to the fuel pump prime. Can you hear the pump running when you first turn on the ignition?

Yes, throttle body coolant bypass. The previous owner did you a huge favor if you every remove the TB, now you won't have coolant everywhere.

Re: Where do these lines go to????

It could be your cold start circut isn't working(9th) inj, a fuel pump relay is sticking open causing the oil psi to reach a certain psi to close the fuel pump circut or something in the pump/regulator is bad.

Grab a factory service manual from HELM ... We are guessing at your problem where the manual will point you in the correct direction for a proper fix.
